The International Olympics for Applied Informatics AcadNet invites high-school students to share their passion for computers and to pursue excellence in a high-energy, community-driven competition of like-minded peers.
The AcadNet contest was launched in 2007. In each edition, students are invited to engage with hot topics in informatics, choosing from two dedicated tracks:
The Networking contest track is aligned with the Cisco CCNA v7, semesters 1-2-3 curriculum, covering networking fundamentals, IP services, security fundamentals, automation and programmability. The Networking track will stimulate and endorse students’ abilities to diagnose, manage, and optimize today’s digital networks.
The Computers contest track is aligned with the Cisco IT Essentials curriculum + Linux and Windows configuration + CCNA v7 first semester, covering topics from the internal structure of computers to high-level understanding of operating systems. The Computer track will boost and certify students’ skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, identifying common security threats like phishing and spoofing, problem-solving and critical thinking in a hands-on environment.
Enroll for AcadNet 2023 and join other like-minded high-school students to test your skills in computers or networking!
The international competition will take place on Saturday, 6th of May 2pm EEST (11am GMT).
